    Dr BIll... ETG Question
    Dr. Bill.

I am 38, fairly healthy, have not been drinking lately due to being in a program. I recently however, went on a 7 day drinking binge, consuming approx. 15 drinks a day. I have to take an EtG test at 1pm on Thursday, with my last drink consumed at approx 5pm Monday. I have been drinking an excessive amount of water since Monday, and am wondering if you had some insight at what you believe my chances are of passing, and if drinking the water days prior to the test has any effect on eliminating the etq quicker?

    Any help would be appreciated

Drinking lots of water only increases your chances of getting a fail for dilution.

DrBill is no longer posting on this site. Like smoothy said, you are doing it all wrong with the dilution thing.

Was just curious if the days PRIOR to the test, the water consumption made any difference in the elimination process? I take the test tomorrow, and was not planning on consuming large amounts tomorrow.. The program I am in at the moment, any dilution, the first one is just a warning, so a dilution would certainly be a better alternative than a positive..

Water intake in excess of your bodies needs to maintain hydration screws up your body chemistry.. and they look for that as a frequently used attempt to cheat. And it doesn't correct itself nearly as quickly as it is to screw it up..

You might get a warning... but that warning comes with even closer scrutiny of all future tests...
