    Am I pregnant?
My last period was early Jan. I had unproteced sex with my boyfriend three weeks ago. Now my boobs are sore and swell up when I wear a bra. I have cramps but they don't feel like period cramps. I feel sick all the time but mostly in the morning. I get tired a lot. Am I pregnant?

So you don't know if you're pregnant but somehow we are supposed to know... we can't know the answer if you yourself don't even know. It's impossible.

    Have you missed a period?

I just want to see if they are early signs of pregnancy. Or if I should be worried. My period has not came this month, but my periods come when it wants to. Never had a normal date.

I think it's a little too early to be having symptoms. You'll have to wait it out and if you miss your next due period, take a test.

Most women get no signs what so ever during first few weeks, for most women the first real sign is a missed period.

When is your next period due, you will need to wait till two weeks after you miss your next period to test, test with first urine of the moning

Wait at least two weeks from when you were supposed to get your period. If you don't get it, then take a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If that test is negative then wait until your next period is due. If you miss it, test again or get a blood test.

I'm so sick of posting this over and over again. Why do people think we can diagnose pregnancy online? It's not possible. Pregnancy symptoms and PMS are identical. So is the flu, a cold, and other illnesses. We can't diagnose pregnancy by symptoms, not even a doctor can.

The only way to diagnose pregnancy is with your urine, your blood, or an ultrasound later in your pregnancy, or you could wait 9 months and see if you give birth. Those are your options. You won't find answers on the internet.

    You asked:

    Am I pregnant?
That was your question. It doesn't matter what other people have experienced. I've been pregnant three times, each time I experienced something different, and my experience will not be yours, or anyone else's.

Bottom line, pregnancy cannot be diagnosed by symptoms. No one can give you a diagnosis online. NO ONE!

Being a pet expert doesn't mean I don't have expertise in other things. I do know more about pregnancy than you seem to, since you seem to believe that someone on the internet can tell you if you're pregnant or not, which is what you asked, word for word.

We get this same question at least 10 times a day, if not more. It's shocking that so many people are having sex, but have no idea about how pregnancy is diagnosed.

Take a urine test, get a blood test, get an ultrasound, or wait and see if you give birth in 9 months. Those are your options, the only ones, like it or not. If you want guesses, see a psychic.

    Good luck.

You're new here. Watch your language. Alty is a pet expert, but she is also very knowledgeable about pregnancy and motherhood. Take advice from her as if she is an expert. If you don't like it, then ignore it. Having an attitude will not help you around here at all.

It never ceases to amaze me. She came here, asked if she's pregnant, when we tell her there's no way to diagnosis pregnancy, she gets ticked of, says she just wants other people that have been through this to post, and get a diagnosis that way, which isn't possible. But hey, if that's the criteria, I've had three pregnancies, so either way, my advice is valid according to what she's asked.

She doesn't want to hear that she'll have to wait. No one does. Waiting sucks. Sadly, that's the only way. I just love it when they blow up because we can't tell them now, when no one can! Apparently we're supposed to have magical powers. If so, I'd like my wand now, because the truth isn't working on these people!

Thanks for the backup TJ. I appreciate it.

To the OP. Good luck, I mean it.

It's that teacher in me... I can't stand bad attitudes. I'm not sure how old the OP is, but I'm betting pretty young.
    Keep up your great advice!!

Thanks TJ. I have to say, they're getting to me lately. There's only so much ignorance one can take before you blow up. I really worry about the future of this world we live in. If it's left to the next generation, it may be the last generation. :(

Well, I have a set of Kinders reading and they are cute and adorable! They have good manners and are respectful! So, at least 30 5 year olds are good examples of our future!!

I sure hope they turn out okay. Wait until they're teens, get an iPhone in their hands, and watch their brains quickly turn to mush, with only the capability of texting their friends all day, and posting pictures of themselves in the bathroom showing off their butts. It really makes me want to scream.

I have to say, seeing some of the posts posted on this site lately, it's not giving me much hope for the future. But we probably shouldn't talk about this here. The OP got her answer, didn't like it, but still, we shouldn't hijack the thread. We can only hope she learns a few things before she actually has a baby.
