Ive been with my boyfriend 14 months. A week ago he told me he had cheated on me a few times. He would not tell me how long for.

I spoke to the girl he had been cheating on me with and she said it started xmas 2011. She also told me that they had been an item for ages.

He then rang me up, he was really angry with her, he swore blind to me that she was lying, they were not an item. She still says he is lying.

Since then he has been trying to get me back and convince me that she was just a fling. I know for a fact that he has not contacted her since.

He swears that he wood never cheat on me again. He has promised. Do I give him a second chance?

Could it be possible she was telling the truth? Or is that her way of getting him as her boyfriend, by getting me out of the picture. I'm not sure who's telling the truth, her or him?

Well, you know the saying, right? Once a cheater, always a cheater.

Sure, it's possible that he's telling you the truth... then again, it's possible that she is also. You know him better than we do so you would be the better judge of that.

Still, when it comes right down to it... if you got back together with him, would you always be suspicious and wondering if he was cheating on you again? That would be a hard thing to deal with.

Well I would like to see if he was prepared to talk it through and find the root cause of why he cheated. I know I sometimes saw my ex and spent time with him. He thought I was cheating on him, which I wasn't. Im not sticking up for him because cheating is wrong, but I do still love him, so I just hope I can either move on or understand if he is lying or not.
