Can I pass an ETG with 63 hours since last drink
I am 5'7' very thin. 32 years old. Started drinking at 4 pm on Saturday. Had about 6 beers, two glasses of wine and two shots. Done at 1 am on Saturday. Can I pass if I have to take the test by 5:30 pm today (Wednesday)?

The math doesn't add up. It appears that you had about 10 drinks. Since I don't know the pattern of how you drank, I will assume it was a fairly steady event. If you reached a BAC of 0 by 9 am Sunday morning( I can't imagine that you still had alcohol in your system after this time since this is 8 hours after your last drink and 17 hours since the 1st drink), you have 80+ hours after BAC 0 before testing. This should be more than enough time.

Thank you for the reply. Everything I have read online for BAC to zero after the amount of drinks I had, even given the time was 17-24 hours to BAC.

    mlbmom,

You started metabolizing alcohol as soon as you started drinking it. Assuming that you have a liver that functions normally, a good rule of thumb is that you metabolize anywhere from .75 to 1 drink per hour. Again, this time starts from the first drink that you had. Since you know your drinking pattern that day, you will want to take into consideration if you had the majority of the drinks during the last hours or if you drank at a steady pace. Either way, this event should show as negative.

Please post your results when you get them. If you are not contacted within a week or so, you can assume you passed.

Sorry, I am paranoid... I know I'm not suppose to drink but I couldn't help it. Last Saturday, had around 7 shots... and 3 mix drinks... and stopped on Sunday around 2am... I have a EtG test on Thursday (tomorrow) at 6pm. I know EtG only detects 80 hours... but I just need some reassurance from you...
