    When I flush the basement toilet it smells like sewer in up stairs one after sub pum?
    When the sub pump or basement is used it smelles like sewer in up stairs one? Is it the wax ring?

    You really mean a ejector pump don't you? If the pump drains into the sewer main it's possible that I can cause back pressure if there's a partial blovkage,
    Any bubbling in the toilet bowl? Back to you. Tom

    It is not my house it is a friends, I replaced the wax ring in the down stairs because of a leak and then he told me about the smell up stairs

    I bought 2 wax rings should I replace the up stairs one too?

    You can replace the wax ring but if that doesn't get it I'd snake from the pump on out. Good luck, Tom
