    I stole from my employer
I'm 19 & stole from my employer back in June 38 dollars. I was fired & I paid them back, they didn't press charges but I want to know if it'll be put on my record or anything. How could I see If its on my record or going to come in the way of getting a job in the future?

If they didn't press charges, then you don't have a record.

I wouldn't use them as a reference when applying for another job, but your record should be clean.

Hopefully you learned from this mistake. You got really lucky.

Unless you were tried and convicted, then your record should be clear.

I really did learn my lesson. I truthfully did but they said they're going to keep it on file. I'm nervous & very sorry

Now if someone calls them and asks them about it, they can tell. But there is no police record of this, since they were not called.
