What states allow a teenager to divorce a parent due to abuse?
I am told there are states that allow a teen to divorce a parent due to continued abuse. He is 15, and does not want to be forced to go visit his dad and stepmom due to the abuse.

To the best of my knowledge there is no such thing. Who told you that?

If he doesn't want to visit with his father then you, assuming you are the custodial parent, need to go to Court and get the visititation/custody Order changed. The Court will listen to a 15-year old (although it doesn't have to do whatever it is that the 15-year old wants).

If the father is abusive, PROVE it and get visitation taken away from the father.

There is really no such thing, the custodial parent just takes the other parent to court to have their visitation taken away, She proves the abuse in court, and that should take care of it.
