My mother (born in 1930) and was adopted through a closed adoption in Texas. She has been deceased since 1995. My sister may have Huntingtons which runs in families. I would like to open the records. Is this possible?

I very recently read about a case where there were health concerns. A Court Order was issued based on the Affidavit of the next-of-kin who had the concerns but it limited the disclosure to medical info only, no names. You would have to follow the website, see what it tells you.

When you get your answer it would be MOST helpful if you would come back and let us know. This question does get asked.
