    Scared I am still infected
I got tested and received a positive test for bacterial vaginosis, cervicitis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea. I was treated that day with zithromax (two pills) and required to take metronidazole two times a day for 1 week. That cured my BV and chlamydia, I think my cervicitis too. However. I did not get treated for gonorrhea until 3 weeks later. I abstained from the time I was tested until 4 days after I was treated for gonorrhea. If I was treated on a Monday morning, and had protected sex on Friday night, am I still contagious? Can oral gonorrhea be given? My partner is not infected. I also have no symptoms.

No. I just got treated this past Monday morning, and had sex with my non-infected partner last night with a condom. After the zithromax and metronidazole I took and started taking July 10, I had no symptoms of an STD. I got treated with one oral dose of Suprax (cefixime) on Monday the 6th. I'm just confused because some people say it can be cured as fast as two days if you haven't had it for a long time and I think I got it around June 10 or 12

Your new partner, was aware of this I will assume?

Cured in that time, "maybe" but maybe is not for sure, I am sorry if I at least personally feel you should have waited till you knew for sure, But as long as the non infected partner is aware of your treatments and was OK with it at that point, it is always just both of yours choice
