I'm a girl I am 14 well in 5th grade I moved to this new school & this girl beat me up people would make fun of me & a lot of people started disliking me they don't know anything about me in the hall ways people would look at me & say "ew i ing hate that " I just ignored everyone. In 6th grade more people started hating me & they started calling me a whore, slut, It's kind of funny since I'm a virgin & I've never even talked to those people. In 7th grade boys would scream to me "you're ugly". Girls would try to beat me up. Everyone hated me. At home I would always cry & stuff I've cut myself like 3 times my mom would always tell me I'm beautiful but I know I'm not. I don't really have friends. I'm starting to go emo. Sometimes I think about suicide. But I don't have to guts to kill myself. I'm going to 8th grade in a new school I'm tired of the same every day.

So, after all this experience being disrespected, do you finally have an idea how to act and react in your new school?

Does your school have a policy about bullying? That's what this is. I could give you the speech about how things will be different when you're in college, but that's little help to you now.

I know physical pain and cutting eases the emotional pain, but you know that's not the answer.

Suicide doesn't take guts. Staying alive, not devastating your family by killing yourself, that takes guts!

Is there a possibility you could transfer to another school district?

You do know this has nothing to do with beauty - this has to do with meanness and jealousy - theirs, not yours. They think by making you look bad they make themselves look good and don't even see how mean and small they are.

I have a friend about your age who is wise and wonderful well beyond her years. Let me see if I can find her. She's been there, done this - and she's a wonderful, caring person with some good answers from your age group perspective. She doesn't post often but we correspond by email and she's a really good person, kind and sharing, considerate. I'll bet she has some thoughts.

Sorry but people do not just beat you up, many may call you names but not all.

Going emo will most certainly cause people to pick on you, but that is your choice

Oh & no not really the teachers & staff members just look they don't really do anything. But this one time this girl told me to ignore them.
