Can my rent be raised to cover garbage collection now that the city doesn't
To save money, the city of Willoughby, Oh (Lake Co) has discontinued free garbage collection for it's residents. I am currently renting with a signed lease and the land lord is raising the rent $10.00 a month to cover garbage collection. Can this be done without signing a new lease?

Depends on the terms of the lease, if the lease states that rent can be changed due to increases in government services, it can.
