    Thermostat
We just had our AC repaired, it had a leak, but while the technician was here he said our thermostat needed replacing. So my husband installed a new thermostat, but now the AC will not turn on at all. He tried to put the old one back up but now that will not even come on. He reinstalled the new one, and we could hear clicking noise that sounded like the AC trying to kick on, but then it stopped and no AC. Please help!

First things first... did he mark what color wires when to what terminals before he took the old one off? Hopefully he did... look at that chart again and make double sure he hooked it back up right.

I've checked it vs the manual, however I'm working off just the colors of wires.

Hang on.. and hopefully one of the guys that do this for a living will answer... I've only done it a few times... and don't know them off the top of my head.

Hoping the original one was wired with the right color wires to the right terminals.
