Doesn't matter what you WERE doing... its what you are doing now (and more recently) that matters...
You have two chances.. slim and none. Maybe that's what you need to start taking this seriously like you should. Before it kills you (and it will eventually) or someone else.

It is highly unlikely that you could have EtG in your system at that time interval. It would be truly exceptional. One such exception is if over the years you have damaged your liver or kidneys.
Based on your pattern of consumption, I'm guessing you must have had a severe long-term problem when you quit 5 years ago. I noticed that you tapered down leading up to quitting on Thurs. Is that due to a history of extreme withdrawal reaction?
Where do you go from there? How do you recover from the lapse. Re-stabilize... Got any plans?

I may have some mild liver disease, my blood values are normal though.
Yes, I am prone to withdrawl/seizures, I have had at least 10 seizures. If I had more time I would have tapered more so.
Well, I do not know as I have spent the lions share of the last 5 yrs sober and have also quit smoking my belief is I am more practiced at dealing with compulsive behavior.Thank you very much for your response.I will probably dilute anyway just to be safe.My prob. Is Felony dui (no accident/injury... Thanks again

It sounds like you might benefit from something to prevent giving in to that compulsive first thought that leads to the binge. The volume of alcohol in concentrated form (vodka) can only lead to fibrosis and ultimately cirrhosis of the liver. You are at a critical point, assuming "mild" liver involvement.
What is your age?

I'm 46, I recently went a low-car diet and noticed considerable positive physical changes.I think these long term can de-fat the liver.I had some peripheral edema that all but vanished in 5 weeks.IOW, Stop the sugar.I was also walking several miles a day and beginning a workout program. My rage at the state drives much of my negative thinking, I should be free within six months. That will do wonders, and achieve a sense of well being. Also general tolerance and acceptance.
My drinking patterns are horific and uncontrolled just tipping bottles of hard booze.I am quite content without drinking.I am fairly certain my future contains very little alcohol, I need to retain my place in society at some level and gain some indepedance again.

You are at the right age when maturing out of problem drinking is prevalent. But I note that you are setting future contingencies to provide for your well being. As far as your drinking is concerned that's today's problem. If you allow that desire to prevail all of those future plans quickly dissolve and you receive even greater official sanction and control and diminished independence. The best way to defeat the system at this point is to be compliant for another 6 months. You know that you can do that because you have done so in the past.

I like your logic Dr. Bill, in fact my second dui was directly related to your point and never had to happen, I could be have been back to work 8 yrs ago.We had 3 children during those years so it was offset somewhat.I am shooting for age
50 to attain some form of degree, probably surgical tech.I need to get back to my health routine and see this through, it could be as little as 3 months as my kind wife paid the balance of fines during this last week.Your a Prince!

Illegitimi non carborundum is a mock-Latin aphorism meaning don't let the bastards grind you down. Best of luck to you.
Check back when you get your results. Thanks.

As a matter of volume of alcohol consumed to EtG detection times I'm 95%. But when you introduce liver function that renders other factors negligible. Let's just hope that the fatty deposits didn't substantially reduce function of enzymes responsible for EtOH metabolism. Probably didn't but there is no way of being certain.

Bill,
Congratulations. Hope you make the most of it. Remember your goals and don't place yourself in danger of coming under that type of control again. Love to hear from you in the future and wish you the very best in achieving everything you have planned.
