Central air condenser not turning on
Mice made a nest where the relay is .
I cleaned it out and reconnected a chewed wire. Still won't come on .
I have checked the rest of wiring and it looks OK. What should I replace and how can I keep the mice out.

First you need to buy a cat to take care of the mice. Then you will need to test the wire and other components to see which is defective then replace that part.

Central Air Condenser Fan not working [ 11 Answers ]

The house was not cooling. The furnace in the basement was blowing, so I went outside to check the condenser unit. It was humming and the fan was not turning. The outside unit is clean, I have taken it apart and vacuumed all the fins this spring. I suspect it could be a relay that has gone out...
