    Hot roots
    I have dark brown hair colored it light golden brown and now I have hot roots please help

    When this happened to me I used a semipermanent med brown shade - sparingly, with a toothbrush, along only the roots. Semipermanent is key because you don't want more ammonia or peroxide exacerbating the problem. Leave on as long as possible and blend blend blend!
