    Leak
There seems to be a leak in my kitchen coming from under the dishwasher. It occurs while water is running in the sink and while the dishwasher is running. I checked the pipes under the sink and nothing is leaking! What should I do? By the way I have an older home built in 1962 if that is helpful.

Take the bottom access cover off the dishwasher and use a flashlight to see if the leak is under the dishwasher. There are usually either two or four screws that hold the acces cover on. Normally two right below the door and two near the floor.

It is soaking wet under the dishwasher but I can't tell where the leak is coming from. I tried to disconnect the hose that runs under the sink to the dishwasher, made sure all the water was turned off but when I pulled that hose off water went everywhere! I tried to turn it the opposite way and nothing would stop it so I ended up shutting off the main line to the house. Needless to say I hooked the hose back up and gave up trying to figure it out by myself.
