Wisdom teeth healing?
It is now my 5th day since having my 4 wisdom teeth removed, I was put under. I still have pain as I'm quite swollen inside my mouth. My throat is inflamed due to the tube put in my throat. How long now till my holes heals, I got stitches put in, dissolvable ones.

It will take about two to three weeks.
Trust me, I know from experience.
Avoid smoking and drinking beverages out of straws. Try to obtain a syringe or a WaterPik and use it to wash out the holes in your mouth where the teeth were extracted. Advil works nicely for the pain; but whatever you do, do *not* (and I repeat, DO NOT) take Advil and another Ibuprofen together.
If I were you, I'd call in sick to work if you already haven't.

Thanks for the reply :D Do you think it's OK to start eating normally or too soon, like for example a cheese burger or piece of chicken? Yeah I've taken work off :)

I would not advise rinsing the area with a syringe or water pik

Oh really why? Heaps of people have said do it. I'm guessing so it doesn't dislodge the blood clot?

Exactly. A gentle sloosing will do the trick. The blood clot is necessary for healing, as you may know.

Time line For Wisdom Teeth Removal Healing
[ 3 Answers ]
I just recently had all four wisdom teeth removed as well as the four molars they were next to. I was just wondering, when will I be in the clear for not losing a blood clot. When will I be able to stop worrying about if food is stuck in the cavities/sockets?
Thank you

All four of my wisdom teeth are coming out together. Uper left one doesn't hurt at all but coming out in a wrong direction, lower left one is perfectly fine so far. The problem is with the right side, there is not enough space for the teeth to come out, uppor or lower part, the pain started couple...
