    I think I'm 2 weeks pregnant
    I think I am 2 weeks pregnant but I'm not sure an I have a appointment in 3 days to be put on birth control. Is there anyway the dr can tell if I'm 2 weeks pregnant that day?

    Tell them you think you may be pregnant and have an ultrasound.

    At 2 weeks gestation an ultrasound will not detect pregnancy. Pregnancy is usually detectable by ultrasound in the 6th week of pregnancy.

    The poster did say she thought she was 2 weeks pregnant, so an ultrasound would not determine pregnancy at this time.

    Yes, they will be able to test for pregnancy at that time. Let them know you suspect that you might be pregnant. They will likely do both a urine test and a blood test.

    Is there a specific reason you think you are two weeks pregnant?

    Hi Niesha,

    If you have missed a period, try a pregnancy test. If you haven't missed one yet, wait and see what happens when you expect the next one.

    Have you tried a pregnancy test? That's the only way to determine pregnancy.

    If your period is late, try a urine test. Make sure to use first morning urine, and follow the directions exactly.
