My mothers bathroom is INFESTED with mold and her floor is caving in, in Brian spots as well. The mold is literarily EVERYWHERE in that bathroom floor,shower,walls,vanity,toilet... And the landlord ignores the problem. I know poll say mold is very harmful so she tried blessing it but there is no ventilation in there either... She does not know what to do. And the AC stopped working in her window unit and soaked the whole living room carpet and the land lord won't replace that either. She said BC she has a dog (big she let my mom have the dog) she just wants to collect rent and do her teaching job and ignore her other responsibilities... What are my mothers rights. And what should we do?

Have your mother write down her complaints/demands in a CERTIFIED letter, return receipt requested. That might get some results. Have her take PICTURES too. Plenty of pictures...
