    Hippa question
    A coworker has family members that come here there was some questions about him coughing up blood she asked me what he should do I said come in see the dr and make sure she documents it in the chart. When pt came in she never asked him so I did? She says I have no right I believe I do please advise

    You are really going to have to clarify your question.

    Who are you in this scenario?

    Also, it is HIPAA, not hippa.

    Where do you work? Likely not a HIPAA violation but you are over stepping your bounds.
