This is the reason WHY we pay car insurance.
It is THEIR job to work out any and all damages arising from an accident.
BUT as you mentioned the lack of damage I doubt a claim will arise.

Parking lot accident claims almost never are assigned fault to one party.

Neither of you should file a claim. It's silly if there is no damage, because both of you will lose your discounts for safe driving and no claims.

I'm a liability investigator. Your insurance company will pay a "true" claim. Your version of no damage may very well not the other driver's version of no damage. Some companies raise your rates. Others do not.

Fault depends on how this happened. You can't just back out of a spot into a driving lane, but the other person can't just hit you without trying to avoid you. You have already admitted you didn't see the other car. Why is that?

I need more details if you need a better answer.

If the other driver makes a claim with your insurer, your insurance company will hire someone like JudyKayTee to determine if you were at fault, and whether there were any damages. If the answer to both questions is a "yes", and assuming your coverage is current, they will pay the claim.
