    Hbsag and sugar
    Hi,

    I I am married at June 16 2006.within 3 months my wife is infected by sugar and hbsag.I have consulted with dr.doctor told vaccinate me.otherwise it will infect to you.my question is its dangerous for me and to my wife.we don't have children up to now.because so many people told the two diseases are dangerous.I am only one son to my parents.the disease is affected within 3 months only after our marriage.please help me out of this problem.I am becoming dull day by day.my health is spoiling thinking about it.please help me.

    I am assuming your wife was diagnosed with hepatitis B (HBsAG) and those with chronic HBV frequently have diabetes melitis. However diabetes is not contagious, so you don't have to worry about that part, but you do the Hepatitis B; there is no vaccination for this.

    You both should sit down with your doctor and discuss every option available.

    Is this danger for me in future.because I can't see her like that.if she felts in bed I can't see her in that position.because so many people told that the two diseases are slow poison.I can't see her in that position.

    Properly managed, although don't know medical history of either one of you, either one are not a death sentence unless the diabetes is so far advanced it is compromising her kidneys. Get yourself to a doctor and become well acquainted with hep B and diabetes.

    Thanks but how long this disease will be I don't knew but the diseases are not curable I knew it.I can't see her in that position.my parents will be asking think about children they want children.they are becoming old.I don't knew what to do.but doctors will tell something because the family must not be disturbed I knew that.any thank so much for your answers.
