If you have 3 weeks or more until the test you should be OK, as
1) naïve smokers absorb less THC* than experienced smokers,
systemic availability of smoked THC ranges from about 8−24%, and depends strongly upon the experience of the cannabis user. So you simply absorbed less of the product. 2) Naïve smokers process/eliminate THC and metabolites much faster than chronic regular smokers, and 3) you have no accumulation of THC in fatty tissue, as one who smokes on a regular basis would have.
It is unlikely that THC would be present for longer than a few days, given the circumstances you describe.
Urine tests are conducted in 2 steps, screening and confirmation. The screening is performed with an immunoassay (IA) with less sensitivity than the instruments used for confirming.
If the IA is negative that ends the test. The IA usually has a cutoff of 50 ng/ml and given the facts mentioned above it is very unlikely that you will have anywhere near that level at time of test.
So you may have lucked out. But keep in mind that every drug test, of every type, checks for marijuana and continued use increases the length of time that it is detectable.
