But it does not work like that. First you would have to contact Social services and/or children's welfare and be taken out of your home. After that, the and the court would have to decide that the home is so unfit there is no chance to be returned, And then you would be put into foster care. At 16 there is almost no chance what so ever in being adopted, very few older children are adopted

Why do you needs to get out?

If you are being abused call Child Protective Services. They will investigate and if you are in danger you will be placed in foster care. Adoptions at your age are unusual.

You'll "age out" at (usually) 18 and then you can live on your own.

Being put up for adoption will only cause more problems than you have right now. First of all you will have to be placed in foster care before you can be adopted. Being placed in foster care isn't a picnic. You will bounce from home to home, not all people are good foster parents, and you won't get along with everyone. It will take time to find a foster family you get along with. Second of all, very few people want to adopt a 16 year old. Most of them want to adopt babies.
