My daughter is 5 months old, and at her 2 month well visit I told my doctor this, and she said it was a lymph node. When we went to her 4 month well visit I had the doctor check the lump again, and she said it felt different and that she though it might be a cyst. She gave me a phone number to a dermatologist. Should I be concerned?

You will probably have cause for real concern if you don't follow up with the dermatologist, let me put it that way. A cyst will be removed quite easily, but if you wait could turn into something more difficult. Why wait ? We can answer many questions but not make diagnosis. We don't know family history, we don't know medical history, we don't know you or your daughter so kind of difficult to give a say on this. In a nutshell, we don't diagnose on AMHD for a lot of very pertinent reasons.
