    It's official:
There are no flying saucers in Australia
Alien abduction? Defence's X-Files are lost in space

So what have we got? The greatest cover up in history or the greatest ****up in history. Even the information that remains only speaks of the distant past in the cold war years. So it's official, ET does not visit Australia. I think it's the abo influence myself, the place would have been so backward it would have been of no interest

It's a well known fact that ET prefers to appear South of the Mason-Dixon line and West of the Mississippi River ;primarily at single wide trailer parks.

In the article it does say that documents were destroyed. So it may be that someone who doesn't believe in UFO's might have ordered their destruction based on the fact of nonbelief.

It is sad that officials can do that on a whim as there is so much we don't know about the phenomena going on around us and if evidence does exist then we could put the puzzle together.

We have freedom of information here just like other places, what you are saying is there is a conspiracy at a somewhat low level a little like the wikileaks affair. Documents only get destroyed because it is deliberately done

The UK released a bunch of files in March, and the FBI opened The Vault in April. Roswell was apparently a weather balloon.

Not according to the "vault" you posted. It was far more then that. Take a look for yourself. They didn't actually investigate it except by phone. And it states they didn't believe what they were told.

There are lots of things going on in our skies that are natural as well as man made. The stealth was flying around much earlier then thought. Anyone seeing it would have thought it a UFO at the time.

Yes same goes for the Blackbird They were probably testing some of those things at Woomera thus the files were destroyed. We were testing pilotless aircraft there a long time ago too. Let's not forget the cargo cult man is good at making up stories about what he does not understand. As to man walking on the moon, there are theories about that but if it were false the Russians would probably have busted it

I thought I saw a UFO once. I was driving home from Dumas, TX and coming over a hill I was met with a row of bright lights flying low. Freaked me out. But it was just a plane. Still don't know why it was flying so low, at night, in that direction. I also went on a snipe hunt once, but all we found were jackalopes.

A yowie is not bigfoot, that's more like a bunyip
