    Implanon birth control implant.
I had the Implanon birth control implant inserted about a week ago, and it feels like it is broken. Should I contact my doctor? Is it dangerous? Is the birth control still effective? Thanks in advance :)

How does it feel like it's broken? It should be flexible. If you feel it is broken contact your doctor to have it examined.

I don't know how to explain it but I can feel like a crack in it. If I take my nail across it it gets caught in a little crack. Also I have been having a lot of pain when I make a muscle. This just started yesterday.

Then make an appointment with your doctor so that it can be examined.
