Can an aunt fight for visitation?
My sister's ex boyfriend's parents have temporary custody of my sister's kids and they refuse to let us see them. My sisters ex got cause selling dope and my sister got caught up in his mess and ended going to jail with him. While in jail, the grandparents went and filed for temporary custody of the kids, but haven't let us (me, my mom or the children's other siblings) visit with the kids. Can I fight for visitation. I haven't seen the children in 6 years. I doubt they even remember me.

No you can't, but your mom may be able to. ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. But may places do have provision for grandparent rights, but none have provision for aunt/uncle rights. So your mom as a grandparent may be able to force the custodial parents to allow her visitation. You will need to hire an attorney to make the petition.

No the OP can hire the attorney, but any filings will need to be made in the maternal grandparents name.
