    Glenn Beck
    Hello :

Hmmmm.. Like Pat Robertson who said Katrina was God paying us back for the gays, now we have Glenn beck blaming the Japanese for the terrible event that befell them.

    In his own words
    :

"I'm not saying God is, you know, causing earthquakes. I'm not not saying that either. What God does is God's business. But I'll tell you this: Whether you call it Gaia or you call it Jesus, there's a message being sent. And that is, 'Hey, you know that stuff we're doing? Not really working out real well. Maybe we should stop doing some of it.' I'm just saying."

Will that guy EVER exhibit one shred of decency?

He's an actor, drumming up business for his employer (like the rest of the Fox News employees). The sad part is that people actually watch him by choice.

    Hello Carol:

What I do know, is that 50 volunteer workers remained at the plant to try to avert a total meltdown, after 200 others were evacuated. These 50 will surly die protecting their country, and the Glenn Becks of the world...

Beck and Gilbert Gottfried... perfect together .

I'd have to ask Beck why God would punish the good people of Japan and spare Hollywierd ?

    Hello tom:

You were a little harder on the chick in the video who was saying just about the same thing.

I just can't get behind a God who destroys 1,000's and 1,000's of his people... Wait a minute... Japanese people aren't Christians are they? Well, there you go.

I'm watching the evening news. The Japanese are already beginning to repair and clean and haul stuff into piles for later removal. A Japanese couple in their 70s is making chopsticks and bowls for the shelters (that couple is also in a shelter until they get their house restored). Rescue teams are finding both living and dead people who were buried, are doing careful rescue work, and are removing the dead with great respect and care.

There's so much good coming out of this disaster already. Why doesn't Mr. Beck see that?

Not really . She was saying the Japanese deserved it. Beck ,in his incoherent way, is saying that God is sending us a message without really saying what that message is.
But if it makes you happy... I condemn Beck to the hottest pits of hell ! Now about 50cent and Gilbert Gottfried...

50 cent and Gilbert Gottfried have to make outlandish comments just for people to even remember they are still alive. But yeah they should go to hell.

On this OP I compared Beck to Elmer Gantry .

As in the other thread I still think he is a nutjob and way too preachy. I don't like his style at all.

    1. I confess:

    I am a "Conservative".
    I am a Christian.
I am a Republican (but liking the Tea Party and Constitutional Party "movements" and some of the candidates that espouse those "movements").

    2. The above being said:

Glenn Beck does NOT represent me in any way, matter, shape or form.

Glenn Beck's program is a FOR PROFIT organization, period.

He does NOT speak for anyone other than himself.

    Haha...

Yes, I am human, and I am being.

Other than that, I'm not sure what I am.

In all seriousness, though: please, Please, PLEASE do not let any one person, regardless of their "power" on the radio or internet, determine what you think of people who claim to be "conservative" or "liberal", etc.

I don't think "liberals" or Democrats are bad just because I disagree with what Chris Matthews or Michael Moore says, so please think that way when you see or hear something that GB says.

    Fair enough? :)

Hello: I, like Glenn Beck, tout the purchase of gold.. Even though it's simply a commodity (meaning nobody's gold is better than anybody else's), there DOES appear to be different ways to buy it. You can buy it at its commodity price - or you can get ripped off. There really is no other way...
