Should I email her asking if we could bury the hatchet?
At a former job 18 months ago I became interested in a woman. We struck up an email conversation for a few weeks. I then made a mistake; I moved too fast and asked her out. She tried to let me down easy but I misunderstood, causing her to become upset and break off contact. I tried to apologize but she got her supervisor involved and I stopped. Almost two years later I have run across her again and am wondering if I should email her asking nothing more than if we could bury the hatchet.

If you acknowledge you were harassing her then I would leave the ball in her court...

It sounds to me either you came on waaaay to strong after her 'no thank' and maybe went on to pester then maybe insult her? However I stick with 'leave her to contact you if she wishes'; especially if this is still with the confinds of work. If you have her email, then I'm sure she has yours.

What happened when you ran into her? Are you working with her again? Unless you expect to be working with her or can't avoid seeing her, I don't see any point in emailing her.

I would not email her at all, if you are going to be seeing her on a daily basis, just be nice and let it go.

If you may never see her again, just let it go completely.
