    Al Gore, "Oops, my bad"
It turns out that the Goracle's support for corn-based ethanol was a 'mistake.' Actually it was purely political, his support for subsidies was not based in science but a desire to win the farm vote while running for president.

What else is new? Al Gore is in it for Al Gore.

I Think we have long since come to the conclusion that any support for corn based ethanol is a mistake. It causes a massive distortion of the market for corn and increases the price of foodstuffs. We all know what politicians are about, and it is not what they tell us. Gore would be the greatest BS artist the US has produced in modern times. What a pity he didn't become president he could have talked us out of all our problems

It appears to be happening again, censorship has struck

We all know corn based ethanol is a big mistake, one of those great ideas that has implications no one thought of like profiteering and causing problems with food supply. Gore is like any politician and while we aren't allowed to say it here, he is full of hot air etc

I wonder if that is a tax cut for special interests the Dems are willing to extend ? It is up for renewal at the end of the year. So far it has cost the American taxpayers $16 Billion.

Sorry doesn't seem to be enough in this case as he cast the deciding vote in the Senate knowing it was a scam.

Oops again, that 6' rise in seal levels we were warned about? Not gonna happen.

Alarming predictions that global warming could cause sea levels to rise 6ft in the next century are wrong, it has emerged.

The forecast made by the influential 2007 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which would have seen cities around the world submerged by water, now looks ‘unlikely’.
I personally think they just forgot to take into account the effect Obama's election would have on the rise of the oceans.

Speech, so what you are talking about is that once again someone at the UN "overestimated" or over "emphasised" the threat, well they are in good company, they can join such personages as Gore, Bush, Rumsfeld who all have something in common with the UN and in the UN, they are loose with the truth, but then they didn't have the benefit of wikileaks keeping them honest as Obama will do. Hot air over Washington doesn't cause the sea level to rise
