    Will colour dye fade into blonde hair
    I Have light blonde hair and recently put some purple, black and dark red streaks into it. All of the colours I bought were permanent. The only thing is will they fade into my blonde?
    I had it pink once (streaks pink) and it faded ruining my blonde hair, but I thought it was down to the pink hair dye being semi-permanent, can anyone tell me if permanent colours will ruin my blonde hair?

    Hello,

    No, it's not going to fade back to your blonde. You also picked the hardest colors to get rid of. Red is the most quick color to fade, however, the hardest to get out.

    Unfortuately when you use a permanent color, the only ways to get rid of it is to either use a stripper, bleach, or grow it out. Permanent is permanent.

    I would suggest stripping the color out. You can go to a beauty supply store and get one. Eliminate is a good one.

    Now, keep in mind, even using that, there can be damage involved. So, I recommend you using a reconstructor after. Biolage and K-pak are good ones. They help repair damage by putting moisture back into your hair.

    I WOULDN'T use bleach. Too harsh. Especially with your choice of colors on blonde hair.

    If it were me, I would go to a salon and have it prfessionaly done. Yeah, it will cost more, but, they will know what to do and save you from even more damage.

    Hey thank you for the reply :) but I don't want to get rid of the black, red or purple I want them to stay, there only on micro loops so I can take them out, I just wondered when I wash my hair I don't want my blonde hair to get purple, red or black fades on it, therefore I'd just like to know if permanent colour rund into other hair? I researched it and thought that it didn't but I just want to know for sure before I wash my hair because if it does, id take them out and wash my blonde hair, thank you :) x

    I must have misunderstood your original question. I was under the impression you were asking if your hair would eventually fade back to blonde.

    I would take them out to wash your hair just in case. I believe that it won't fade into your blonde. But to keep the longevity of them, I would take them out. They will last longer.
