No, the first time I came across lateral puzzles was here, when morgaine started this :)
Was it a song? (as opposed to music played by instrument only)
Is he the one who sponsors the musician/singer? (depending on my previous question)
My question I asked was about what kind of studio did you mean? There was a song on the radio. He did not sponsor anyone.

A non-bood relative: His wife? An in-law?
Did he mean to kill the person? Was it an accident?

Ok, so...
Was it a radio studio?
Was it a studio where artists make their album?
Was there a case of cheating involved? (relationship cheating)

You guys are so close I can feel it.
It was a radio studio.

The cheating part is irrelavent

Well, I have to think the wife didn't have anything to do with the song he heard - not the words, the singer, or the music, based on previous answers.
Did his wife work for the studio? The radio station?

The words of the song had nothing to do with it.
His wife did not work there. If she did it is irrelavent.
Yes, lets call it a radio station instead.

I keep giggling about this. You are so cute, Unky.
Did he know his wife was dead before he turned on the radio? Did the song that was playing somehow verify his wife was dead?

Is the motive of killing his wife relevant?
Does the singer know his wife?
Was the singer on radio at the radio station?
Was the man a reporter at the radio station?
Is this a good summary?
A man was driving to work, a radio station, and he turned on the radio. He heard something that made him worry, a song sang by a singer he knew (not personally) and figured he would get in trouble with the law because he killed his wife. He pulled over and shot himself.
Lol, it turned out a 'song sang by a singer' :p

Was the singer on radio at the radio station? Confused, do you mean was the singer at the station?
Was the man a reporter at the radio station? No
Is this a good summary?

The singer or the song playing is not relavent. Pretty good summary. I will try one myself and see if it helps. I will even add a part in for you.
A man is returning to the radio station at which he works after killing his wife. He turns on the radio and then pulls over and kills himself in fear of being arrested.

Yes, I was asking whether the singer he was listening to was at the station he works at.
Is his job status (director/manager/speaker/etc) at the station relevant?
Was his radio tuned on the radio station he works at?

Sorry Unky, I must have misunderstood you.
The song on the radio was being played from his radio station.
I would say his job title is relavent.

Okay, he's a DJ. He snuck out during his shift to kill his wife, thinking he'd have an alibi. As he was returning, the songs he had set to play stopped and he wasn't there to fix the problem. Ruined his alibi, and now he knows he'll be suspected in her death.

Are you a genius J-Lo? I figured you guys would get it soon but not that soon. You were confused for one second then you solve it the next. Impressive. You got every single detail there. The one thing is that he made a pre-recorded tape to play and it started to skip when he was listening to it so he knew he couldn't fix it and would be a suspect. I like yours better, like it just stopped. Anyway, good job.

And yet another lateral thinking puzzle

Deep in the forest was found the body of a man who was wearing only swimming trunks, snorkel and facemask. The nearest lake was 8 miles away and the sea was 100 miles away. How had he died?
I'm new at this, so we'll see how it goes. I think it is a lot easier than Morgaine's train puzzle :)

OK, Adam wants more puzzles. :D
OK, first one is not really the yes/no question type. It is a lateral thinking puzzle, but more of a riddle and you just need to try to think of the scenario. There may be more than one logical explanation, but you have to guess the right one.
