No worries, must be another of those evil mice which escape to mainland...

There are some of them who turn bad once in a while, and before we can catch them, they flee...

I felt really bad about it Unky, but he got into the house. He stole dog food, he made a nest. He had to be killed.

We had a little memorial service before we tossed him in the trash can. ;)

You see? Since it stole food, it's evil I tell you! :)

Respectable mice don't steal food. ;)

LOL! I guess I don't have any respectable mice.

I hate killing them. They're so cute, but if I don't I'll soon have a house full of them and they do a lot of damage. Also, they poo everywhere and I have kids and other pets.

Still, I hate killing them. :(

Me too... the ones that get caught here... they just get caught in a trap... a board smeared with some glue (which stinks by the way) and we throw them in the bin. My heart is broken when I see them desperate on the glue :(

We use the snap traps. R bought the sticky traps once and I was horrified. We cleaned out the garage and apparently we had a nest with tiny babies. They got scared when we started cleaning, ran for the door and got caught in the sticky trap.

The trap said there's poison that kills them within seconds. Not true. They die of starvation.

One of the babies only had his little bum stuck to the trap so I tired to save him. I couldn't get him off, I just made him suffer more, so I gave up.

I finally ended up filling a pail with water and drowning them. At least that was better than them dying a slow death.

It still breaks my heart just to think about it.

The snap traps still kill them, but it's instant, just snap and dead, no pain, no suffering.

Aw, I'm sorry Unky, I didn't mean to make you sad.

Yes, my cold is better today. I also had my pre-op appointment today and the good news is they may not have to do surgery. The bad news is that they're going to try banding (did 3 today) the um, thingies. :o

I wasn't prepared to go home with a very sore butt today, but I did. I don't like this banding thing. I also don't like the fact that he asked if two of his interns could come in and watch.

Here I am, on the bed, on my side, rolled into a fetal position, butt hanging out for the world to see and he's talking about my "issues" as if I'm just a science experiment. All I could think about is the fact that Sneezy will one day be an intern and I can just imagine the jokes he'd make if he was in the office with me today.

Sadly I have to go back in 6 weeks for more torture. :(

    Is that a better topic?

That's why those hospital gowns have an open back...

Banding is not a certainty, it works sometimes, cutting works best...:D:)

    Did this sound bad? :(

    For Sneezy... I don't know... :(

    EDIT: Evening Stringer! :)

Here's what really scares me Stringer. I just googled it, and apparently every other doctor puts their patients under when doing this procedure. Mine didn't. Also, most doctors only do 1 at a time because more than that would be too painful. Mine did 3.

I am in pain, not happy, and now I'm finding out that most people never get 3 done at once.

I found one website (a Q & A site like AMHD) where one guy said he only got one done and had to go on vicodin for a week because the pain was so bad.

My doctor said it wouldn't hurt. He lied! :(

Surgery is the next option, if this doesn't work. Apparently the pain of the surgery is far wore than the banding.

Um, no, I didn't. I said sure, bring them in. At that point I had no dignity left anyway, so I figured I'd just go for the full humiliation. :(

    Sigh.

Well this girl and her sore butt are going to bed, if I can sleep. I may take a hot bath first.

I have another appointment in 6 weeks. I may cancel that. This really sucks. :(

    Night everyone. Sleep tight.

Okay, have a good night too Alty.

I don't think that cancelling the appointment will be good... the sooner this ends, the better I would think :)

90s cartoon kids movie about the circus [ 4 Answers ]

Okay, so the movie that I cannot figure out was made in the 90s, I think, because I was a 90s kid. I remember watching it in daycare. But anyway... the movie took place near a carnival or circus and it had a boy in it too. I don't remember the plot or anything. Wow, that shows how much of the 90s I...
