Can I be chrged for child abuse based on several unfounded complaints
My angry sister has made several call to cps on me, I have handicapped children and I hired her to help me but fired her for slapping one of the kids. She has told me exactly what she will do to me and has done everything she promised so far. She always calles in as a nurse or by another name, the complaints are exactly the same each time only more bazzare stuff is added each time but she never leaves out the past allegations, she told me they will take my kids based on the amount of allegations, she is very hateful, I did not know this about her we were not raised together. Anyway one day in July the police came to my door asking me and my kids if I yelled at them or hit them of course we all denied it, several hours later cps shows up and interviews my boys they again deny abuse, I got charged with child abuse in the 2nd degree, I went to my arraignment the judge was not going to give me bail but my lawyer went to bat for me. He said that he read my file and that an ex cop from detroit and his friend accused me on that day, one said he only heard me yell at my child the other said he heard me yelling and saw me backhand my child. Neither of those things happened! My sister used to and may still be dating an ex detroit cop. I never met him he is really het John she does that high class call girl stuff. I have heard her talk to him on the phone, not my business inless he is the cps caller. How can this happen this is so unfair, they would not have a case if not for all the called cps even said in 2 of there investagation it was harassment all investagation were unfounded. I feel overpowered and hopless, the sad thing for me and my kids is I really am innocent.

You have testimony from CPS that they have made at least two investigation and have found no basis for the claims. This should be enough evidence to get the current charges dismissed. Without any corroborating testimony, plus the record of false complaints, this should be a slam dunk.
Once that happens, your attorney should turn around and subpeona the records of the complaints from CPS. You then sue your sister for harassment and slander.

I would take Scott's advice and get to gathering all the documentation you can get your hands on.
Abuse of the system like this can cause so much damage to innocent people ,that any chance to bring it to light, and show consequences to the vermin who do things like this, should be taken to the limit.
Wrongfully taking children from parents is one of the worst kinds of abuse.
Be relentless in your fight for the truth and the well being of your children.
God bless you and show you the paths you need to follow.

If she calls in as a nurse, whose name, when they go visit that nurse for an official statement, or try to get them to testify, there will be no evidence.
Now of course I don't trust CPS at all, so yes they will often try.
As to your question, can you be charged, yes, since it appears you have been.
CPS often comes in, takes the kids first, charges everyone, then starts to investigate.
Keep that attorney's name on speed dial and follow his advice as to what you should do, and about making any statement , perhaps even posting here, without asking him first.
I had a issue with CPS many years ago, my attorney instructed me not to allow CPS in my home, and not allow them to talk to the children without the attorney there.
Not saying that is your advice, my advice to you, follow your attorneys advice to the letter.

DO THIS.
I have had a few rounds with CPS myself and can see the value of keeping them from a free reign to twist, subvert and outright lie in their interviews and reports.
I caught them doing this to my son and his wife, this would prevent that.
I was enraged enough with your sisters actions , I forgot how rotten CPS can be.
Trust in an attorney for sure, and no one else.
