    Any reputable shop will adhere to the laws governing permission and age limits. We cannot and will not allow any illegal advice here. Also with something like body piercings, you are well advised to only deal with a reputable shop.

    What does a teen need with a tongue piercing anyway?

    Then why does she need parent or what's wrong with her ID? VA law requires parental permission under 18. Once they are over 18 they don't need parental permission. Therefore, if they are over 18 then they have ID. So why would you ask the question if they were over 18?
