    Bleeding after clitoral stimulation.
I have a typical problem. Whenever I masterbate using a hand shower,I start bleeding. Not that I am fingering myself or inserting something in my vagina. I just spray water on my clitoris to stimulate myself. But after one or two orgasms blood starts coming out from my vagina. At first I used to think its my periods but it stops within a day or two. Now it is not a coincidence anymore. It is happening 7 out of 10 times. I am worried a lot. I am shy to visit our family doctor even. Please help me.

m2 there is a logical explanation for your bleeding after masturbation problem, but it isn't going to put a 'bandaid' on it. When you orgasm, from masturbation or any other reason, your uterus contracts and if there is any blood in there at all, it will be squeezed out. That is the logical explanation.

However, you are going to absolutely have to talk to your doctor and get a referral to a specialist to get to the bottom of why this happens so much. This happening as much as you say is a problem. If you want to be a healthy young lady and not have any future problems with your internal plumbing, you had better get this fixed soon. Get it over and done with. This is your absolute health we are discussing here.

    Good luck

@ tickle-- thanks a lot for the advice. But as I learn from your profile, you are a medical professional too. So let me tell you I guess your logical explanation is quite satisfying as I have a hell of a irregular cycle with no fix interval or fix length of bleeding period. I have consulted my doctor, she says its normal for young ladies. She gave me some medications for it. I am taking them.
But I hope there is no uterine cyst or endometrial ovarian cyst that is storing the extra menstrual blood.. can it be something like that?

m2, I can't tell you that. We can't diagnose on AMHD as everyone is different, some people have pre-existing medical conditions that they don't mention, and the list goes on and on. It is just too difficult and dangerous to diagnose over the net. The problem is that there is bleeding, and it could be one of two things and only tests could determine if there is a problem.

There isn't a medical professional here that would diagnose any condition just by reading a list of symptoms.

Does your doctor know the whole story, about the masturbation practice you have? Or is the doctor under the impression that you just have irregular periods. What is the type of meds she gave you? Estrogen?

@wondergirl-i said I'm feeling very shy to mention the masturbation habit in front of the doctor cause every time my mother goes with me and the doctor seems to be a friend of hers!

How old are you hun? Are you old enough to visit the doctor by yourself? Any info you give is private and your doctor cannot tell your mother.

You really need to have this checked out. Bleeding from clitoral stimulation is not something normal. If you want to have children in the future, you need to see a doctor about this.

So the doctor did not answer your question because she/he didn't have complete information. So you are back to square one. (I still wonder about the meds the doctor gave you.)

    Are you in the U.S.

J_9, if the patient is a minor, is the doctor still obliged to maintain confidentiality?

Yes, the doctor is obliged to maintain confidentiality unless there is a case of suspected abuse.

I will surely tell you tomorrow what medicine doc gave me for the irregular cycles. But when I visited the doctor in April, I have no clue what masturbation is. Did heard of it but never tried it. Its just during June that I tend to discover the kick accidentally while washing myself with a hand-shower, which intrigued me to do it often. And you I am doomed now :((

That makes sense. When I counsel minors, I'm to maintain confidentiality, or clear it first with the minor that his parents must be informed by him or by me. Of course, if he's a danger to himself or others, confidentiality goes out the window.

I have two friends who were born in Kashmir and Delhi, so I understand what you are saying.

This does need to be checked out by a doctor who has full information. Is there any way you can get to a doctor who doesn't know your family? Probably distance becomes a problem then and leaving your house without explanation to your parents.

Even if you stop totally, there is something wrong that needs to be checked out. This could affect your marriage and having children. Hugs to you, m2 -- (((((m2))))).

Okeyyy wonder girl. I'm going to as my doc. I will tell her everything but may be in a milder way. May be I don't have to use masturbation and sound a pro rather I will describe the act and sound novice.. but I guess I can't ignore it now.. XXX
