    Condenser fan not working
I tried to switch on the air con in my house and realised that it's not cooling. So decided to check the condenser unit outside my house. Its not running. Did a little R&D however everything failed. I then called up my electric company and they came over to check. They said that everything looked fine down near the condenser unit, and that it might be the furnace or the thermostat. The furnace is running (I'm sure about that), however not sure if the thermostat is working. Any help on this issue will be appreiated.

Make sure to check all circuit breakers and any fuses in the outside disconnect.

Look at the outside units service panel area and see if the contactor is pulled in. If not trace the 24 volt circuit back to the furnace to find the problem. You will have to take apart the unit to get to these areas so easy does it and watch out for live voltage since it can hurt or kill you.

Outside unit condenser fan not running. Compressor seems working OK. I followed some advice to have run capacitor replaced but still the same. I also found there is a small noise inside the unit even we don't run that air conditioner. There is no sign we have a burned wire and fan motor likes...
