Yahoo Toolbar Missing!
There was an software update for my HP printer so I updated, that's the only thing I did that was when I first turned on my computer so I don't know if the toolbar was still there or not but it's gone now!
I checked TOOLS to see if I accidentally unchecked yahootoolbar in the list of tools but it's not even on the list, tried to download a new toolbar but it won't download. There is a pop up blocked then I press Allow and it press Restart to start the computer and it won't take!
I wanted to update Firefox but it list certain programs they say will be disabled and will not work, the only listed was my HP printer so I didn't download, I just got this printer and don't want it to stop working after updating FireFox.
I have the Google toolbar but it does not take me to my Yahoo mail.

Okay. I'm not an expert at this, but I would like to see if anything I suggest might help. I've "lost" programs in the past on my computer, due to various reasons, and usually was able to get them back.
To me, the first thing that I would do is to see if the tool bar is hidden somewhere on the desktop. I would first check for that by dragging the pointer of the mouse around the edges of the desktop and right and left-ckicking to see if the tool bar might be there.
Thanks!

Sometimes they can be positioned to be on the top or one of the sides of the desktop. I've accidentally placed them in different areas previously.
Now, you might want to try right-clicking on a blank space of your task bar and see what options you have available.

Toolbars + Firefox = YUKKKKK!!
Yes I will quantify my statement.
Toolbars, especially if you have multiple ones, reduce the amount of webpage realestate available for viewing.
With FF there really isn't a need for a myriad of these bars as there are, normally, add ons available.
You mentioned both Google and Yahoo bars, now I assume you are using these for mail notifications. In which case try these add ons
Google mail: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/173/
Yahoo mail: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/1264/
While I'm harping on, get the latest upgrade for FF to 3.6.6 as I see you are still running 3.5.10.
There you go should cover everything..

Yep that's basically what I had my Yahoo toolbar for was for mail notification.
If I upgrade FireFox is shows a list of programs that will not work and be disabled and it showed my printer! That's why I did not upgrade to the latest FireFox, I don't want to mess up my printer program!
I never had a problem with the toolbars I had Google, Yahoo and Roboform and it worked just fine until two days ago.

FF doesn't actually care what printers you have installed, only extensions and add ons that it uses.
Is it referring to a particular extension that has been installed ?
IF you have an issue with 3.6, simply reinstall your printer, or, better yet, buy a new one they are cheap enough now ;)

It is a new one! I just bought it! But there was some sort of update from HP and I updated maybe I shouldn't have but I don't remember if Yahoo toolbar disappeared before that already or after that, who knows what happened, I just noticed it was gone but I will try the Yahoo mail update add on you suggested. Thanks!

Did the update install an FF extension ?
If so don't worry about it as printer extensions really aren't needed anyway.

No, it was a screen that popped up and said update from HP better customer service etc.. Hmmm now I realize I really didn't read it. It was just for my printer that was it, it has nothing to do with FireFox but how would that effect my YahooTool bar? I googled and it seems others YahooTool bars have disappeared as well. I don't know what happened!

Interesting.
They may well of updated it and in the process broked it with FF, hence why FF is not allowing it to run.
No matter, try the notifiers I linked earlier, a simple icon frees up browser realestate..

Wow that YahooMail add on didn't even work!
FireFox really doesn't want to have anything to do with Yahoo?
Oh well... we tried.
