    Did they burn?

R burnt eggs trying to boil them once.

The water was all gone. All that was left was black burst eggs.

The smell lasted for a week, even with the windows open.

    I thought I was having a stroke! ;)

Not so much burned, as EXPLODED! There's half an exploded egg all over my kitchen floor.

Thankfully, tonight is trash night. Once the eggs cool enough not to melt the bag, I'll clean up the mess, throw out the eggs, and put out the trash.

OK, if you have a timer that doen't shut off until you shut it off, use it. Every time I boil water for iced tea, the timer gets set for 10 minutes.

Yep, I have a story to tell. I was a little one and put water on to boil when mom wasn't home. Ended up with a charcoal bottomed pot on the inside in which I had to clean before mom got home. Boy, that was a lot of work.

The timer on my stove doesn't work. I'd use the microwave, but it doesn't make a sound when it turns off.

I once completely ruined a pot by 'boiling water' for about 6 hours. The bottom buckled and cracked.

I think I should stop boiling eggs.

I'll try it all. Chicken noodle soup will be on the stove in a bit. Sadly I don't do pop. My poor tummy can't handle pop, it's used to beer and coffee. ;)

I don't have peppermint. :( I do however have a beautiful amethyst necklace. I never wear it because it's huge. If I ever get an invite to dine with the queen, it's the perfect accessory. ;) It was a wedding gift from a friend of the family. I was supposed to sell it as a down payment on a house. It's from the 1700's, white gold. I think I have a picture. Let me find it.

I'll try that. Wear it under my shirt tomorrow. :)
Have you had that appraised? If its really that deep a color with good clarity, it might be worth more than a little coin... meaning I hope you get it appraised and you insure it. Bad things happen sometimes... and that might be one hell of a piece of jewelry snuggled against thy bossom.

There is a difference between living in the gutter and being sensually naughty.

You and I are the latter... other people we judge... they might be gutterable perverts.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.

Since when is disvirgin a word? It's not in any dictionary I've ever read.

    I am no angel.

I've done a pretty decent job of controlling my temper over the years. Most of the time.

Some days I've not done so well and gotten away with it. It happens. Sometimes its good to hear another person labor to breathe after you've hit first and are lookng down at them.

    But really...

I've been ticked off, pi$$ed off, etc enough times over the years... somehow this guy is a top five for me.

I don't expect any fellow guy to be a saint... we are idiots... and we are crude sometimes by our nature...

All that said... this punk is also an idiot.

He doesn't deserve any woman's love

I just get a deep sense of satisfaction knowing I was able to use language to put someone in their place. It's even better if I can phrase it so they're not sure if they were insulted, or complimented.
