I'm trying to think of the title of a movie that I rented sometime in the early 2000's I believe. I can't remember any of the actors in it, but I think the main two are well-known actors. Here is what I remember of the plot. A younger man was sent in undercover to spy on an older man who had been with his employer for many years and was nearing retirement. I want to say it was a government agency and the older man's employers had grown suspicious of him over the years. The older man thought the younger man was working FOR him, sort of his protegee. But in fact, he was trying to dig up dirt on him. I think the older man, who was very meticulous & suspicious and would often talk down to his young protegee, told the younger man to never go in his office. He may have even kept it locked. Of course the younger man would sneak in when he wasn't around, which would create for some suspenseful scenes as he always had to remember to leave everything just in it's right place.

That's it! Thank you so much. Geez, I can't believe this is only from 2007. I thought it was older. Sorry for the bad time-frame info. I see now that the movie is set in the early 2000's. That'll be my weak defense.
