Speaking of shiny, I have a nightlight so I don't trip over kitties on the way to the bathroom in the dark. Kittens have decided that the nightlight is a toy. More than once, I've found one or more of them sitting next to it with their arms wrapped around the bulb.

    Edith has weird kids.

But doesn't the bulb burn them? Hope not...

I have a doggy light by the dogs water dish so they don't kick it over in the middle of the night.

Apparently not. They seem to like hugging it.

Oh, sh!t, it is, isn't it? OK, I'll try to get some posted tonight. Right now, I have several kittens on my legs and it's dark and my camera isn't close enough to reach.

I DO need to move them anyway. I need to eat something.

I have to get my kids in bed. I'll be back though, just give me an hour.

Be good while I'm gone and don't go anywhere! ;)

Hello again all. Is it really only us Brits who dip our chips (err fries to most of you guys I guess) in our eggs? I thought that was some kind of international law :P

I think I just won the battle against an invading ant army. Little blighters were even climibing into the dishwasher eww. Now I'm trying to track down a wasps nest that I fear is lurking somewhere. We had them in the loft and behind the weather boards the last two years and it looks like they are back yet again. Argh.

When some neighbours did up an old house that had been left empty we also got mice. Managed to sort those pretty quickly at least, but not before one ran right past my foot while I was ironing. I actually jumped on a chair and screamed like something out of Tom and Jerry. Hubby laughed. A lot.

A friend came to visit with her little boy, who was playing quietly with trains on the floor, whilst I was telling her about our pest invasions. I finished with,'I'm fed up now, and wondering what flipping creatures will try to move in next.' Her little boy looked up and said, hopefully, 'bears?' Eek!

I have been OK. My son was sick again all weekend. He missed yesterday and today from school and of course he is loving it. Some issues with my dad but that will all fall together eventually.

Who cares about me how are you?

Sorry to hear G hasn't been well, good luck with sorting the things out around your dad, if your going to play dirty, don't get caught :)

I'm OK thanks, exams over with, trying to find a job or a job in indistry next year, my future is very uncertain.
