    heat but no ac
    I replaced my thermostat, when I turned the power on ,nothing . I found I hs=ad blown a 3 amp fuse by the transformer because I wired the thermostat wrong. The heat now works but not the ac, is there another fuse for that . It's a york model p3huc20n09201c

    No there is no other fuse. Do you have a jumper from rh to rc??

    no my last therm had w=w, r=r, y=y, g=g , blue=c, I didn't think I needed the jumper because the old one didn't, 'do I '?

    If there is no red wire on rc you will not send power to the ac unit. So a jumper must be installed if your new stat has both a rh and rc. I think this will take care of your problem. Make sure to turn off power on furnace before installing the jumper.

    You/everyone should always kill the power to furnace before installing new tstat or doing anything to the low voltage wiring / or high voltage wires

    thanks joshdta, I jumped rc=rh and it works, just in time for so-cal heat!
