I think you should do a darker purple, because if it fades a bit you'll still have a bit of color. Pink or magenta would be awesome, but if you don't do the pink right it could turn orange. I had a friend who did her hair in colors all the time, that's what happened. That's why I don't. Maybe just get a temp dye. :)

Haha Who cares what the kids think? I'm all for it, but I think you should post pictures when you do. :)\

EDIT: also, I didn't think of this before, but you could probably get colored extensions, that way you don't have do deal with the dye messing up your real hair and you can take them out when you're done with them.

I'll definitely post pictures if I do it. I have to find out the cost and see if it's in the cards. ;)

I like the idea of extensions, but aren't they pretty pricey, much more then coloring?
