    Wearing a tampon?
This is really embarrassing... I don't know how to "put in" a tampon. I have had my period for about a year and never wore one. If anyone has had experiences of wearing one for the first time and how it felt that would be really helpful.

It may seem strange at first, but it is not painful and it is not uncomfortable. Have you read the instructions from inside the box? I suggest getting one of the name brand types first, with the plastic applicators, this makes it much easier for beginners.

Yeah it can be scary at 1st but read the instructions inside the box. Try to get used to your vagina first. Go into your bedroom and just have a play with it. Once the tampon is in, u can't really feel it.

It's true, you can familiarize yourself with your own body first by literally exploring, take a mirror and have a look, you'll understand better what is going in.

Just to add: every box not only has instructions, but a picture diagram to help you. :)

    Tampon trouble
I need to figure out how to use a tampon. I have read the directions multiple times, tried different brands but I can't figure it out. It says to put it up your vagina, but I don't know the exact place to put it. I know the "area" around where it goes but I don't see an area big enough for a tampon to go in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Say and try spelling: Urethra.

Again - why is a 10 year old on adult boards, giving incorrect info?
