Bella babe, you're part of the family now, that means that we care about you, we'll nag you, we'll tell you exactly what we think and how we feel. It's part of the parcel. Too late to back out now, you're hooked. ;)
Really though, get better or I'll kick your arse. I don't do mushy very well, I just do "get better or else". ;)
Hugs to you. Okay, that was mushy. Darnit, I'm losing my edge. :(

LOL! I don't do mushy either. That was good for me. Was it good for you?
And on an unrelated topic, Lord of the Flies is on!

It was satisfying. ;)
Not a big fan of Lord of the Flies, too weird for me. I didn't like the book either, but then again, I'm not much for the so called "classics" of literature. I didn't really like "Watership Down" either.
WG, put the gun down! I'm sorry! GUN DOWN! Ahhhhhh!

Bella you liked Catcher in the Rye! People think I'm nuts because I hated "Jane Erye" and "Little Women". I loved "To Kill a Mockingbird" and Brave New World.

I loved to Kill a Mocking Bird, it was on 2 days ago. Classic.
I love One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest too! Honestly I don't think I have seen or read Brave New World.

Again, not a fan. The book was okay, but one reading was enough for me, as is with most "classics" that are considered a must read.
I love reading, I'm always reading, and I'll read anything, or at least give it a shot. With "Watership Down" I was so bored I almost cried. I mean come on, here's a book about rabbits, it's right up my alley, but boy oh boy did I have to force myself to read every word. I kept thinking "this is a classic? Really? Why, because someone said so?" I also kept hoping it would get better. It didn't. :(
I love "Thorn Birds", even though it's not a so called classic it is worth a read. My all time favorite book that I can and often do read over and over again is "Swan Song". I just love that book, even though I know the whole thing, can quote most of it and definitely know how it ends, I can still read it when there's nothing new at my disposal.
As for "Watership Down" it's on my shelf, collecting dust, but I can't give it away, after all, it's a "classic". :(

I hated the book "Little Women" but loved the movie, the one with Winona Ryder. :)
Not a fan of "Jane Eyre", sadly not a fan of "To Kill a Mockingbird" and I've never heard of "Brave New World". Who's the author?

Brave New World is a futuristic novel which paints a really gloomy picture of the future its an old book. Read James Patterson, start with the Alex Cross series.. The first one was "kiss the Girls".

I've read that, and "Along came a spider", loved it. I love the Alex Cross series, just haven't checked out all of them. I'll have to do that.

A little late, but any discussion of good books must include John D. MacDonald. "Travis McGhee" was the best detective series ever!

Just finished reading "The Ghost in Love" by Jonathan Carroll.
It's a book that was lent to me--I wouldn't have picked it up on my own, like--EVER.
One of the better books I've read for that sort of book. Think "Tuesdays at Maury's" sort of book. Absolutely wonderful.
