    Getting pregnant with twins
    I am 21 about 50-60 pounds over weight one pregancy almost two yers ago... white what are my chances of getting pregnant with twins

    Your chances are approximately 2-3%.. the same for any woman.

    If you have a personal or family history of multiple ovulation (more than one egg at a time) you have a slightly increased chance of fraternal twins.

    If the family history is on your mother's side, and goes back through the female line, then your chances are greater. Having a history of twins in the male lines means almost nothing.

    The only sure way to end up with multiple births is to medically intercede. Taking fertility drugs that cause more than one egg to drop, or having your eggs harvested and implanted already fertilized. Both methods can be expensive.
