My GirlFriends Wants a Break! It's a heartbroken thing to hear
Well, knowing my girlfriend for 4 years, we are in a distance relationship. She doesn't live near me but pretty far so I can only come visit here once in awhile. Lately she keep complaining about how her school is too stress and I'm being too needy of her, she offer a break with me. Which I strongly refuse. This is pretty heartbroken, loving a girl with all your heart and hearing she want a break with you for w.e reasons is still very heartbroken. She did told me she love me a lot but she was never able to offer me the sweetness and cares that I need. Even though I had explained to her many times that she isn't being sweet to me. She seems so bored of me and very cold to me, like doesn't pay attention when we do talk and doesn't really want to talk to me overall. So one day, despite of my neediness, I chat with her and told her that I ma give her the break she always wanted. She seems so happy and said when she's done with the break she will contact me. I got mad and said well you don't have to contact me, I need my own break too and will email you when I'm done with it. Well right now after saying that I'm very heartbroken, mad at her same time.. I want to know everyone's opinion if I should get over this girl and move on. Because Im feeling that she do weigh her education much more than me, and obviously Im a guy who either love it all or don't love at all.

You should go get a new girlfriend, good or bad, it will just get your mind off her, you know what they say, "if the new dont come how can the old goes away" this was quoted by you actually.

The thing is, she has been loyal to me for 4 years... so it doesn't work in this situation... if she just say OK lets break up, I would be totally done.. but this situation is really complicated

It works perfect in this sitiuation, because you are too needy for her, you got to go find someone who loves your neediness

Oh shoot, that's too true to deny.. I do got to find someone else whose also needy as well. That make a good match. But the only thing that is stopping me is that she still want me to be with her, but she won't be able to give me the attention. I am sure don't want to break her heart, but if this keep going it will break mine.

The only problem here is,
Will I be the heartless guy to let it go?
Or do I wait until she's the one who can't hold it any longer and let it go.
I need what she cannot provide me, but I sure don't want to break a girl's heart.
She can't provide me with what I need but she still want me to be with her and wouldn't want to let go.

Well she thinks you need to change, its quite apparent, and your unwilling to change by the sounds of it, so why hold on any longer?
Also you might want to change your ways of thinking of some subjects. Like your need to retaliate and have a rebound. You will find out in future, it really does no good for the situation. This is brought up from your opinions you stated on other peoples posts. Just my .02 cents

Are u stating that if someone hurt u, u should let it go and act like nothing happen? If its an accident sure, I won't mind, but if they do it on purpose and feels good about it, just let it go?

Perhaps you could go out , get some friends, a hobby, and live a life that doesn't just revolve around your gf/ex? This will make you much more independent of a person, and not so needy? What do you think?
Maybe play some organized sports to release your frustrations

U know what's messed up. If I let her go, I would feel 10x better and wouldn't really need her at all. Its like if I don't let her go I would need her attention a lot. I am so damn confused on what to do now.
Should I let it go, or should I not let it go. This is really killing me.
Holy sht I think I'm getting messed up in the head. I do want to make her feel hurt for ignoring me by breaking up with her, but at the same time I wouldn't want to break a girls heart because its too cruel. I want to make her feel regret for what she did, but she really only doing what she can due to stress. I understand her circumstances completely but are unable to accept it. I think I ma need some counseling

Revenge is the best way to get back at someone, again quoted by you. So I would try and break her heart the best you can, maybe sleep with her best friend

There's no accident.
Don't worry about hurting her, for gods sake, she's dumping you.
Your hung up. She's cold, you're needy. She liked your attention, but not seriously. Not in the way you thought. Just enough to keep you calling.
I was in an LDR for 5. What the hell was I thinking?
Run away. And fast. Get it together.

Break her heart? You ask for a break, you deal with the repercussions.. good bad or indifferent.
