93 honda civic constant high idle 4500 rpms
Hi, I have a 93 honda civic with a constant high idle. It idles at 4500 rpms then will drop to 2500 as it heats up I have change the idle air control and the map sensor but nothing. However when I cover up one of the holes in the throttle body (because I have two I don't know if its normal) the idle drops to 1000 but when I step on the gas it drop first before it goes up I'm not sure what to do at this point. Any help is appreiciated . Thanks

The hose from the MAP Sensor goes to the smaller tube opening, while the evaporative canister hose goes to the larger opening.

My 2003 Honda Civic LX with 47,000 miles has worked perfectly until now. Since yesterday, every time I start it, the engine revs up to 3,000 rpm in neutral or park and 2,000 rpm if in drive. I can control the car with the brake, but it runs away with me if I stop braking. So I can't drive it...

This problem has been bothering me for a while and I have tried a few basic things such as replacing plugs, air filter, and I tried checking the EGR with the "pinch" test because I had read that may cause this problem. But, I got the clicking sound, which supposedly means it is working. When I...

91 Honda Civic, 1.5l, remains at high idle, 1000-1500 until manually turning off by depressing pedal. Once engine rev'ed over about 1500 does it again. Will not return to low idle on it's own. Does not surge like vac hose off. No engine code. If I disconnect the temp sensor at bottom of radiator...
