Why do women wear makeup and perfume?
Because they're ugly and they stink. :p

I hardly ever wear makeup, too much trouble. Also, I'm allergic to most makeups.
I will wear it when we go out, but at home, what's the point, no one but hubby sees me and he likes me au natural, in every way. ;)

Lucky for your hubby... I'd love my girl to not wear any makeup, but she doesn't like the way she looks, so she wears it, all the time, and when she takes it off at night, the room must be dark so I can't see her. Its sad. I don't see a problem with her looks, but she does...

Wow Blacky! That's extreme. Does she get up early so she can put on makeup before you wake up?
Has she ever considered counseling? That's really severe.

No, she doesn't do that... but when if she is awake but still in bed with me, she has the covers over her head. The reason for this is because she has really bad acne scarring, and she has a hormonal problem, so she still gets breakouts all the time. Nothing much she can do about that, but she has had people in the past comment about her skin and say bad stuff to her, so she just hates the way she looks even more. I always tell her she is beautiful, but she never believes me. Her self-esteem is just way too low and she doesn't believe counseling will help.. :(

I think counseling would really benefit her, but she'd need to find the right counselor.
It's one thing to be shy around people, but with your husband?
She needs a boost of self esteem. She needs to realize that you love her just the way she is. If she doesn't, I can see this causing problems down the road.
I'm so sorry Blacky. I hope she one day realizes that you love her no matter what she looks like.

Not all of them are up as yet Bear. And even though I had the electrician put in additional outlets and upgrade the wiring to 20 gage I am still having some problems blowing circuit breakers...:rolleyes: So I am making some adjustments and re-wiring some of them. I took some pictures last night Bear, I am not real happy with most of them, the pics don't seem to capture what it really is. And when I stand back to get the complete house my camera doesn't detail it the way I want it too... :( Even the ones from inside the house are not coming out like I would like.
I will post some in a day or two hopefully, although I know that I won't be real happy with the pictures. But it may give you an idea of it.
I looks like I will have to spend another $2 grand or so to get all those lights outside to work properly without some going out. Just got our electrical bill for the month, it includes just a week and a half of having these lights all up... $459.00. Next months will be for the whole month of Christmas lights... ought oh...

That does seem sad. I rarely wear make-up anymore, even at work, and when I do I make it subtle.

Thanks ladies... I'll see what I can do... she is a gorgeous girl as you saw in our wedding picture, but she doesn't think she is, so she might need to get some help to boost her self-esteem up... till then I'll keep doing the good husband thing of telling her how beautiful she is, and meaning it.. lol :)

Sorry for going like that earlier Alty. My mum came in and asked me to let her check her mail.
I was going to say that one day, I took a big pear, soft and juicy one. I took a bite at it, then another, then another. Suddenly, when I took a bite, I noticed that there was a brown core, with lots of holes into it. Lots of larva inside! I spit the piece I had in my mouth and threw the pear... phew, one of the times I was most afraid...
